PSG Academy Japan was one of my SEO recovery projects, working with an expired domain that used to be part of the Paris Saint-Germain brand ecosystem (fans, media, tours, or academy sites).

The main goal was to protect the brand and prevent misuse. Expired domains from popular football clubs can easily be abused for things like phishing, gambling redirects, or misleading commercial purposes.

Actions Performed

• Rebuilt the original website structure and restored its informational intent
• Cleaned and updated all internal pages
• Removed unsafe or suspicious outbound links
• Ensured all CTAs redirect only to relevant destinations
• Re-optimized technical SEO (indexing, sitemap, internal linking)
• Re-submitted the domain for search engine indexing

Results

• Successfully reindexed by Google
• Ranking for branded and Japanese-language queries
• Generating stable organic traffic
• Maintaining consistent visibility without artificial spikes

Strategic Objective

This project aims to prevent malicious exploitation of expired PSG-related domains, maintain brand integrity in search results, and serve as a documented SEO recovery case study. The long-term goal is for the domain to be officially reclaimed by the club or related entity.
